"How to get married legally.

Go to the Marriage Registry and pick a form for #500. Fill and return with two passport photographs of you and your spouse. A 21 day notice will be issued to the public at the registry for any objection(s) to the proposed marriage.

After the notice and no objection is raised, you go back to the registry and pick a form for the the solemnization for #15,000. You can choose a date for the vows. Bring your ring, Bible, cowrie or whatever you so choose and in less than 30minutes, you are legally married.

All licensed churches follow this procedure. It therefore means that with #15, 500( fifteen thousand five hundred naira only) you are legally married. You can go to your house for reception just the way you people do your child dedication or you give take away packed foods, take pictures and go home.
